TRAINER

Roy Fairclough

BACKGROUND

Roy Fairclough is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Management and has acquired twenty-five years experience with major employers and organisations. As a former Chief Officer in a large authority, Roy managed a department of 1200 personnel who delivered a whole range of quality services for the community. He has an excellent understanding of local government processes and the private sector requirements during these changing times.

For the last fifteen years Roy has worked in the private sector managing his own Management Consultancy. He has put his experience to good use by designing and delivering a range of training courses and modules specifically aimed at both local government and private organisations, to help with the continual changes they face.

Roy has aslo trained for Masterclass and has lectured part time at Plymouth University.

TRAINING STYLE

Interactive, tutorial style with a flexible approach to each course.
Practical courses, which will enable managers to confidently, use their new skills.

TRAINING COURSE MODULES

The main areas of training are :-

  • Value for Money, Management Procedures, Project Management and Personal Skills.
  • Training Courses normally comprises of one or two day Modules on specific management topics and accommodates up to 12 delegates.
  • Each Module can be adapted to suit an organisation’s particular training requirements.
